Job Summary

Filevine is seeking an experienced and diligent HR Generalist with top-notch analytical and communication skills to join our team. An HR Generalist is expected to be a conceptual thinker with fantastic organizational and conflict management skills. To ensure success, you should exhibit strong decision-making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships, staffing management and training. Reporting to Filevine's Director of People, you will be responsible for the following:

ResponsibilitiesHandle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and offboardingAssist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chartContribute to policy development and implementationPartner with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards, and other government regulationsPerform data entry in human resources information systems (HRIS) and conduct audits for accuracy and complianceAssist in the administration of employee benefits including open enrollments, mid-year changes, and training for employee benefits programsRespond to human resources-related inquiriesProcess complaints regarding sexual harassment, discrimination, or other instances of workplace harassment and assist in any necessary investigations and disciplinary actionMaintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirementsProcess garnishments, child support orders, and national medical support orders in compliance with legal requirementsHnadle unemployment claims, including gathering necessary documentation and responding to state agenciesQualifications

Demonstrated knowledge of the human resources fieldStrong knowledge of state and employment law, including FMLA, ADA, COBRA, and EEOC regulationsUnderstanding of personnel and everything compliance records managementStrong analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilitiesAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretionEducation and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field1-3 years human resources experienceExperience with HRMS/HRIS systemsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook)PHR or SPHR certification preferredThis is an onsite position 8:00am to 5:00pm
