Position ResponsibilitiesConduct payroll processing
Compile payroll data (i.e. hours worked from electronic timekeeping system) and input HR/payroll data and track the bi-weekly payroll and timecard cycleReview wages computed and correct errors to ensure accuracy of payrollMaintain record of vacation and sick leavePrepare detailed and accurate payroll reports for accounting department.
Administer compensation and benefit plansAssist as needed in talent acquisition and recruitment processesConduct employee onboarding and help organize training and development initiativesPromote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplaceReview and update HR and employee related forms to ensure forms are current and compliant, and all company related entities are using current and consistent formsAssist in development and implementation of HR policiesMaintain employee files and records in electronic and paper formEnsure compliance with labor regulationsCreate employee communication materials for HR to employeesAssist with updating of corporate records and policies (handbook, checklists)Collaborate with the human resources team to develop effective recruitment strategiesCoordinate open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefit programsRespond to human resources-related inquiriesCreate and initiate employee engagement plansOrganize team building activitiesOther duties as may be assigned.Position Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or related field preferred3-5 years HR experienceExperience with HRMS/HRIS systemsProven experience as an HR GeneralistUnderstanding of general human resources policies and proceduresGood knowledge of state and federal employment regulationsProficiency with Microsoft OfficeExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilitiesAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships and strong customer service skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented with excellent oral, written, and presentation skills necessary to communicate and work effectively with management and co-workersAbility to prioritize workload, multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailCapability to take initiative to complete projects, tasks and assignmentsAbility to maintain strict confidentialityDesire to work as a team with a results-driven approachIdeal Candidates Will Also Have
Knowledge of ADPManufacturing industry experiencePHR or SPHR certification a plus.
