IT Specialist Summary
AHI in Waynesboro, VA is adding a IT Specialist to their team. The primary duty is to support end users with hardware and multiple software systems. The position will be responsible for configuring PC systems, installing software and patches, and configuration of peripheral devices. The position will also assist the IT Director with administering servers, networks, and backup devices. Occasional travel is required. This is NOT a remote position.
IT Specialist Essential Responsibilities:Supporting end users with hardware and multiple software systemsConfiguration of PC systems including installation of patches and configuration of peripheral devicesAssisting IT DirectorOccasional travel - typically travel will be within Virginia and will not require overnight stays. However, travel to Pennsylvania or Tennessee and overnight stays may be required.IT Specialist Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred but not requiredExperience administering VMWare and/or Hyper-VExperience administering Windows Servers and Active DirectoryExperience administering TCP/IP networksStrong communication skillsWork well with end usersDatabase experience is a plusProgramming experience is a plusSAP experience is a plusSCADA experience is a plusIT Specialist Benefits & Pay
