Senior Quality Assurance Analyst (Software Application)

The Senior QA Analyst reports to the QA Lead. The Senior QA Analyst is responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly, meets client needs, and is cost-effective. He/she will also support the team and the QA Lead in running day-to-day QA activities.
You will
Autonomously perform and take ownership of the testing activities without guidance.Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.Perform all testing activities, including requirements analysis, test design, test review, test execution, results analysis, and reporting.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.Identify, record, document, and track bugs to their resolution.Investigate the causes of non-conforming software.Track quality assurance metrics like test execution progress, defect densities and open defect counts.Participates in sprint planning, retrospectives, QA demos, and daily stand-ups.Participates in continuous improvement activities.Provides proactive advice and feedback throughout the software testing lifecycle for prevention and early correction of quality issues.Evaluate and promote teamwork, initiative, work ethic, values adherence, and report findings to discipline leads.You have
Advanced English Proficiency (B2 reading, writing, and conversation).6+ years of experience in software quality assurance.Knowledge of Agile Methodologies for software developmentExperience working with local and offshore teamsExperience in task management and defect tracking tools like Jira and/or similarExtensive knowledge of Windows or MacOS software is expected.Good knowledge of information & communication technologies.Good knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Good knowledge of SQL and scripting.Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.Proven ability to follow processes to ensure high-quality deliverables for the client.Proven acumen, negotiation skills, and proven ability to interact with senior-level employees.ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Applied Computing, Software Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience as Software QA Engineer is a plusWhat We Offer:
