The right candidate will possess strong analytical and writing skills, a passion for advising clients on employment tax issues, and will add their enthusiasm to our affable, team-oriented environment.Requirements:Juris DoctorMust be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of employmentMust meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practiceLLM in Tax is preferred3+ years of experience in employment tax in a law firm, in-house and/or a Big 4 Accounting firm settingExperience with and knowledge of state and federal payroll reporting requirements and correction procedures, including IRS Forms W-2, 941, and 940Employee retention credit experience is preferredExperience with state and federal employment tax audit and appeal proceduresWorking knowledge of fringe benefit taxation and exclusion rulesExperience with interstate and international employment tax is preferredStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage competing priorities and deadlinesStrong academic credentials, superior research skills and excellent analytical, writing and communication skills required
