JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Position Summary

Autajon USA West Coast | Thoro is a local manufacturer of folding cartons in California. You will be responsible for growing our current accounts, prospecting for new accounts and closing opportunities by identifying needs and proposing tailored solutions. Your key focus will be the medical device and pharma market.

Pay Range: $90K-$180K + Bonus Plan

Principal Job ResponsibilitiesPerform to annual sales plan and goals as agreed with management.Continuous development of existing accounts, new business and customer relationshipsStrategic account planning by identifying opportunities, evaluating the competitive landscape and potential business risksActive listening to fully understand customer needs and providing support by utilizing our portfolio offeringFollow trends in the packaging industry and key markets to become a trusted advisor for your customersEntertain clients during and outside of regular business hours to create meaningful relationships with key stakeholdersCoordinate and follow up on opportunities, quotes, projects with relevant stakeholders (e.g. customer service, estimating, design, prepress...)Participate in RFQs / bids, negotiate pricing frameworks and lead cost discussionsChallenge status quo externally and internally with creative ideas and solutionsGenuine passion for providing a ‘customer first' experienceTravel to customer offices and production facilities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Qualifications:High school degree with 5+ years of experience in sales or roles in the medical device / pharma market or packaging industry, or Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in sales or roles in the medical device / pharma market or packaging industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Demonstrated success with clients (quota, success stories, customer support)Experience or ability to learn printing and structural designAbility to understand expressed and unexpressed needs from the customerExperience with CRM and prospecting tools (ZoomInfo, Apollo, LinkedIn Navigator...)Great communicator, able to present in front of an audience, negotiate deals and guide clientsWillingness to travel ~50% between customers and Autajon location in Corona (work from home for online meetings, preparations, reports...)Comfortable with Microsoft Office, CRM, IT tools, and social mediaPreferred Qualifications:Degree or experience in printing, packaging, engineering or businessUnderstanding of folding carton manufacturing and terms usedAbility to develop an offer attractive for the customer and efficient for operationsMethodical approach to develop customer relationships and business opportunities (Challenger Sales, Solution Selling, MEDDIC...)Demonstrated stakeholder management for strategic accounts or territoriesAreas served:
