Manager, Accounting
Role Summary
This role is responsible for managing an accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, implementing and maintaining internal controls, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.
Your Key Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis.Estimate, record and analyze month-end accruals to expense and balance sheet accounts.Manage audit requests as needed.Preparation/Review of various financial statement component reconciliations.Analyze P&L and balance sheet variances.Support in continuously improving the Company’s accounting policies, procedures and internal controls and seek operational efficiencies.Special projects and duties as assigned.Provide ongoing support and internal customer service to business partners.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred.Strong technical accounting skills with a detailed understanding of current GAAP standards.Experience and knowledge of IFRS accounting standards, preferred.Previous exposure to various types of accounting software (SAP, MAS 500, FRX, TM1).Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, Vlookup, Sumif etc.) and the ability to quickly manipulate and analyze large data sets and build reports.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills required to develop collaborative working relationships across functional teams.About GenesisCare
