We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This role is integral to our organization, providing financial support and analysis that drives strategic decisions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance and regulations, variance analysis, teamwork, general ledger accounting, and month-end processes. There is also the opportunity to gain financial modeling expertise to support our reporting and FP&A needs. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.*Only candidates in PST and MST time zones will be consideredResponsibilities
Manage and oversee all aspects of the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and fixed assets.Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports in compliance with accepted policies and regulations.Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Oversee the project accounting, payroll, inventory management and variance analysis functions to ensure accurate and timely reporting.Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives, working closely with department leaders to develop comprehensive and realistic budgets and forecasts.Review expense reports and monitor credit card usage.Ensure compliance with all internal policies, relevant regulations, and external laws related to the finance function.Collaborate with team members to improve processes, procedures, and overall efficiency of the accounting function.Participate in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and on time.Conduct regular ledger activities to ensure accuracy and consistency in the books.Assist in special projects and implement financial systems and processes as required.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.A minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior accounting role.Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting, compliance and regulations, variance analysis, teamwork, general ledger accounting, and month-end processes.Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Exceptional analytical skills and experience creating reports and presentations.High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.3 years of transactional experience with Intuit QuickBooks, or similar accounting system.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.We are looking for a dedicated and ambitious individual who is ready to take their career to the next level in a challenging but rewarding environment.
