Austin Retina Associates is actively seeking a talented, full-time, fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgeon to join our renowned team. As the largest retina practice in central Texas, our group of 16 dedicated surgeons offers services across 14 locations. With a strong clinical research presence, including over 40 prospective clinical research studies across 2 research sites, we spearhead groundbreaking advancements in retinal medicine.The incoming associate will have the opportunity to quickly establish a busy practice due to the impending retirement of one of our esteemed doctors. The associate will have ~5 weeks of retina call per year as duties are shared evenly among the practice, and the option to choose either an 8 or 10 half day work week. In addition to a highly competitive salary with productivity bonuses, there are various avenues for additional income if desired including hospital call, telemedicine, surgery center participation, and practice-affiliated real estate.Our academic affiliation ensures access to a rich learning environment, where teaching ophthalmology residents from both UT Dell and UT San Antonio is highly encouraged.
