We are looking for progressive Team Members who will be part of our growing Ohana!Here are some of the benefits our employees enjoy for their contributions to our success:Medical, Drug & Vision and Dental for employees and dependent/s.Group Life InsuranceHealth and Dependent Care Flexible Spending AccountsPaid Time Off401(K) with Company MatchTuition Reimbursement ProgramCareer advancement within the companyVarious incentive programsPosition Summary:Under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Operations, the Operations Manager collaborates with the different departments within the organization to ensure that every task carried out in the company meets or surpasses established standards.Major Responsibilities:Provides support to the Director of Operations in the day-to-day running of the organization.Assists the Director of Operations by ensuring that the set standards are met in quality and productivity.Reports to the Director of Operations any concerns, problems, or issues that have not been addressed or resolved in a timely manner.Gathers production reports, reviews, and evaluates production data to improve operational quality and efficiency.Establishes quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, reports, and standards by which the company’s operational efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated; identifies opportunities for improvement.Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates operational procedures.Assists in the management of all phases of production.Implements policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations.Evaluates, monitors, and forecasts production volumes in each production division to achieve financial objectives.Communicates and explains new directives, policies, or procedures to managers; for major changes, meets with the entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale.Leads coordination and integration of efforts among production, engineering, transportation, and customer service divisions to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business processes.Ensures work environments are adequate and safe.Performs other related duties as assigned.Core Competencies:Problem solving - Ability to identify problems and issues of varying complexities and find effective solutions with few guidelines.Attention to Detail - Taking responsibility for a thorough and detailed method of working.Initiative - Spotting opportunities within a circle of influence; anticipating threats and acting on them; self-starting rather than waiting passively until the situation demands action.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Good communication skills on all fronts and good interpersonal skills.Good leadership abilities.Ability to work and deliver within limited time frames.Ability to work as part of a team on a regular basis.Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.Understanding of production or manufacturing settings and requirements.Experience of not less than 3 years in an administrative capacity.Certification in basic computer appreciation programs is important.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
