Position Overview

MxD is looking for a results-oriented, highly motivated, self-starter for our Lead Recruiter role. This role will research, develop and execute effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and talented candidates. This entails sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating the interview process, and facilitating offers and employment negotiations, all while ensuring candidates have a pleasant experience.

You will develop, lead, and execute innovative recruitment strategies company-wide, including aligning recruitment strategy with needs of the organization. You will be recruiting for a diverse portfolio of job profiles including cybersecurity engineering, finance, program management, systems integration engineering, information technology, executive, and other organizational roles. This role is a member of our People and Culture department, reporting to the Director, People and Culture.

Position ResponsibilitiesExecute the full cycle recruitment process by working with hiring managers to determine ideal candidate profiles and shape recruiting strategy for each open position.Proactively source candidates using a variety of search methods, including job boards, social media, job fairs, networking, etc. to build a robust candidate pipeline.Prescreen all applicable candidates, then recommend candidates to hiring manager based on detailed requirements of position and competencies; provide manager with reasoning for advancing candidate.Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.Assist with job posting and advertisement processes.Represent MxD at recruiting events, such as career fairs and open houses.Timely and accurately communicate job requisitions status to key internal stakeholders.Collaborate with hiring managers to identify future hiring needs.Monitor key metrics, including time-to-fill, time-to-hire, and source of hire.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and MxD policies.Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices.Maintain internal referral program.Ad hoc duties, as assigned.

Position RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.At least four (4) years in full cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, negotiating offers with candidates, and candidate relationship management.Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong verbal and written communication skills with aptitude in conducting interviews.Familiarity with conducting Boolean searches.Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.Basic knowledge of employment law and policies.Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and resume databases, preferably ClearCompany.Strong computer skills particularly in MS Office and MS Teams.Ability and desire to work in a highly dynamic environment.Available to work onsite 1-3 days a week and for mandatory onsite days.
