CT Technologist

performs a variety of standard and specialty Computed Tomography (CT) procedures to produce imaging studies using radiology technology to assist physicians with formulating a medical diagnosis while complying with safety and regulatory requirements. Specifically, conducts radiology exams and documents clinically appropriate results for interpretive physicians and records.This position is full-time working Monday-Friday 8am-5pm at our John's Creek facility in Suwanee, GA.$7,500 Sign On Bonus!!Duties/Responsibilities:

Demonstrates the company’s values in daily activities.Performs complex tasks associated with the operation of CT scanners and related equipment to produce cross-section images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues.Positions patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment to comply with government regulations and to ensure the safety of patients and staff.Screens patients for CT safety prior to procedure performance.Starts IV’s, administers contrast media as directed and per protocol.Evaluates CT scans for technical quality, collates processed images and sequences of exposure and labels appropriately.Applies the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practice.Maintains knowledge of, observes, and enforces the safety measures in the Environment of Care.Assists in other modalities as requested and as allowed by licensure/certification.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to maintain regular attendance and on-time approval to work as scheduled.Ability to deliver high-quality customer service to internal and external customers by communicating with integrity and compassion.Ability to resolve service recovery issues and understand when to escalate to the next level.Ability to remain calm in difficult situations.Education and Experience:

Graduate of 24-month AMA-approved School of Radiology Technology.12 months previous experience in diagnostic radiology or other imaging modality.ARRT certification in Computed Tomography.Applicable State Licensure, where required.IV credentialed if applicable.BLS certification preferred.Physical Requirements:
