IT Help Desk Technician- New Port Richey
Bayonet Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning, a division of IES, is looking for an IT professional looking to expand his/her IT skills by joining our Help Desk Technician role. This individual is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving IT support inquiries, configuring, and deploying workstations, and providing excellent customer service via written and oral communication.
The essential function of this position is to
Provide technical support by working and documenting tickets in the Help Desk system
Provide over the phone support for end-users
Assess tickets to determine priority and severity of issues
Respond to inquiries and assist end-users in a professional and timely manner
Setup and configure new workstations and accounts for new hires
Responsible for maintaining PCs, Printers, peripherals, and other software and hardware issues
Install, configure, and upgrade PC software, drivers, and maintenance tasks
Requirements
Ability to assess and identify the computer, printer, phone, and tablet issues
Ability to explain technology in an easily understood manner
Strong planning and general project management skills
Self-directed, with the ability to work independently
Pays attention to detail
Possess excellent communication and customer service skills
