Are you Salesforce Architect comfortable being an ambassador for the platform and developing a CRM practice? If so, Dollar Bank has an exciting, green-field opportunity for you. We are seeking a Salesforce Architect responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions on the Salesforce platform to meet the needs of the organization. This includes working with stakeholders to understand business requirements and mapping them to Salesforce capabilities, designing and building custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and integrating Salesforce with other systems. The Salesforce Architect must also ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and adhere to best practices and industry standards. Additionally, the architect is responsible for leading other technical resources, providing guidance and mentorship, and collaborating with other departments to ensure that Salesforce is effectively and efficiently used across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
The Salesforce Architect is responsible for system administration, as well as, designing and implementing technical solutions on the Salesforce platform to meet the needs of an organization.
•Analyze business requirements from stakeholders to develop technical solutions that meet the organization's needs•Recommend the best solution for a given set of requirements and articulate the trade-offs involved in choosing one solution over another•Solve complex, large-scale business challenges to produce secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions that maximize the full potential of the Salesforce platform.•Collaborate with colleagues and customers to create prototypes and proofs of concept as a means of eliciting and defining requirements•Own the design of Salesforce and (optionally) other affiliated solutions for Sales, Service, and platform solutions. Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable and adhere to best practices and industry standards.•Design and build custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules in Salesforce to support the organization's processes and capability needs•Act as a release manager, approving configurations and code for deployment between environments. As appropriate, could also include deploying changes•Advise on Salesforce integrations with other systems to ensure data flow and consistency•Provide guidance and mentorship to developers; collaborate with other departments to ensure that Salesforce is being used effectively and efficiently across the organization.•Stay up-to-date with new Salesforce features and functionality to determine suitability/points of leverage to improve the organization's use of the platform.•Manage and monitor system performance and troubleshoot/resolve issues as they arise.•Analyze platform utilization data to gain insights into usage patterns, limitations, and measure/report end-user/organizational adoption. Make recommendations to drive utilization/adoption of Salesforce solutions•Provide work estimates/breakdowns, manage delivery timelines, and resources.•Communicate progress, issues, and recommendations to the management team.•Groom and refine the Salesforce product backlog, in liaison with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
•College degree required. Will consider professional experience in lieu of education•At least 5 years' experience in a leading role in delivering Salesforce projects•3+ years of experience as a Salesforce architect supporting Salesforce application design and implementation, including Experience Cloud; ideally in a center-of-excellence-based delivery model•2+ years of experience with Salesforce administration and hands-on experience creating/deploying Flows, Lightning components, VisualForce, Salesforce configurations, Apex classes, APEX Web services, API, reports/dashboards, and AppExchange utilities.•Salesforce Certified Solution Architects (preferred)•Excellent written and oral communications skills.•Excellent relationship-building skills•Ability to tailor communication to multiple audiences at all levels•Experience leading projects or delivery work streams in Agile/Scrum and waterfall methodologies•Ability to demonstrate concepts visually and in writing in a way that enables stakeholders to decision•A strategic approach to solution design, with the proven ability to develop and execute tactical plans in support of strategic roadmaps•Excellent ability to coach, motivate and direct work tasks to a multi-disciplinary team of professionals•Active in the Salesforce community
