The Director of Student Accounts is responsible for managing all aspects of the student financial services, including student billing, account reconciliation, and financial counseling. This role is critical in ensuring that students receive accurate billing statements and that all financial policies are upheld. The Director will also lead a team in providing exceptional customer service and financial guidance to students and their families.

Supervise and lead the Student Accounts team, including training, performance evaluation, and professional development.Collaborate with the Enrollment Management Division and other university departments, to ensure cohesive service delivery.Develop and implement policies and procedures for student billing, collections, and financial aid disbursement.Manage student payment plans, tuition refunds, and account reconciliations.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations regarding student accounts and financial transactions.Provide financial counseling to students and families, helping them understand billing statements, payment options, and financial responsibilities. Ability to analyze complex financial data and develop strategic solutions.Maintain accurate records of all student account transactions and generate regular financial reports for institutional leadership.Analyze student account data to identify trends and make recommendations for improving financial processes and student support.Ensure the integrity and security of student financial information in compliance with privacy regulations. Ability to analyze complex financial data and develop strategic solutions.Education:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field is required. A master’s degree or CPA certification is preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in student accounts, financial services, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
