We seek an Associate Attorney to support our Corporate and Nonprofit Services Practice Group. The qualified individual will have at least 3 years of experience and in-depth knowledge of corporate, real estate, and nonprofit law. This individual will also assist our health care group with transaction related work. Ideally, this person will have the following experience:
Drafting operating agreements and corporate formation documents.
Representing sellers or buyers in commercial real estate transactions.
Seeking exempt status for nonprofit entities.
Negotiating complex contracts.
Commercial lending transactions.
Acquisitions, mergers, and other business combination transactions.
Working with health care industry and other large non-profit organizations.
Qualifications:
3+ years of corporate and transactional experience with knowledge of corporate and real estate law.
Exceptional research and writing skills required.
Must be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills along with experience with direct client contact.
Academic credentials will be weighed along with other indicators of ability, motivation and initiative.
Must be able to be in the office at least 3 days per week.
Must be admitted to practice in MN (or eligible).
Admission in Wisconsin is desired.
