Our law firm has a full-time associate attorney position available now and we’re looking for the right professional to join our team. You will have the opportunity to learn from senior associates and litigation associates on legal issues and will provide legal counsel to existing clients. You’ll also be responsible for performing legal research, drafting documents, and keeping client files up to date. Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action.Organize and maintain files to ensure accuracy for other attorneys, paralegals, and staff.Perform legal research, prepare for and attend hearings or other legal proceedings, and give general counsel under the supervision of senior associate attorneys.Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings.Resolve cases efficiently by communicating effectively with and working alongside senior attorneys and paralegals.Qualifications:
Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients.Completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school.Successful completion of the bar exam.Willingness to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base.Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA).Member of Georgia Bar.Three or more years of Litigation experience.Personal Injury experience is a plus.Compensation:
$65,000 - $75,000 + bonus DOE
