Our law firm has a full-time associate attorney position available now and we’re looking for the right professional to join our team. You will have the opportunity to learn from senior associates and litigation associates on legal issues and will provide legal counsel to existing clients. You’ll also be responsible for performing legal research, drafting documents, and keeping client files up to date. Organize and maintain files to ensure accuracy for other attorneys, paralegals, and staffPerform legal research, prepare for and attend hearings or other legal proceedings, and give general counsel under the supervision of senior associate attorneysAnalyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clientsCommunicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficientlyPrepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedingsResolve cases efficiently by communicating effectively with and working alongside other attorneys and paralegalsHandle your cases from start to finish, including but not limited to drafting, client communications, hearings/trials, mediation, and communication with opposing parties/attorneys.Qualifications:

Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association)Applicants must have successfully passed the state bar examJuris Doctorate (J.D.) degree required from an accredited law schoolPrepared to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client baseSolid communication skills and problem-solving skills required in order to work with clients, staff members and senior attorneysCompensation:

$85,000 - $110,000 yearly
