The Manufacturing Assembler / Technician role will assemble or create sub-assemblies of electronic components and final products. The ideal candidate is experienced, has excellent communication skills, energetic, and reliable.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Use hand tools to perform a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.Responsible for producing quality work to prescribed standards, focusing on continuous improvement.Determine and/or follow methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing.Perform highly complex electrical assemblies, reading work orders, following production drawings, or receiving verbal/written instructions with minimal supervision.Position and align parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding device.Mount assembled components on chassis panel.Perform on-line go-not-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications.Incorporate problem solving and process improvements into workflow.Conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.Interpret CAD drawings and instructions and follow established procedures.Perform moderate to semi-complex assembly/test functions utilizing mechanical skills and tools.Troubleshoot and rework malfunctions disclosed by test data.Ensure all equipment is calibrated in accordance with calibration schedule.Perform required acceptance testing in accordance with approved Acceptance Test Procedures.SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:At least 3-5 years electrical assembly or electrical technician experience.Strong ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.Prior hands-on experience assembling electrical equipment.Ability to use hand and power tools.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods of time.Must maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures.Possess effective organization and time management skills.Reliable attendance and punctuality.DESIRED SKILLS:Experience with electrical assembly equipment.Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.Fine soldering and cable assembly.Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.EOE-Females/Minorities/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesOur ValuesWe are proud to say we are an equal opportunity employer and welcome all applicants for employment without attention to any factor that doesn’t impact your ability to do the job.For California only (as required by California’s Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act (SB 1162): The expected hourly rate for this position in our California office is $25 per hour.
