Business Marketing Manager, Pricing and Planning
Full-time Job Type (exemption status): Exempt position Salary Range: 142,715.00-202,200.00 Business Function: Business Marketing At Western Digital, our vision is to power global innovation and push the boundaries of technology to make what you thought was once impossible, possible. This role is Hybrid with 3 days in office and 2 days out. This is an Individual Contributor role. Responsibilities
1) Ownership of Business Management, Pricing and Planning functions for Tier 1 OEM customers Build account strategy/playbook/deal structure/LTA Lead overall pricing strategy and communicate pricing guidance and positioning to sales team/customers to drive deal closure Work cross-functionally to develop long term business models that enable strategic sourcing, fab planning and supply chain decisions years ahead Create business forecasts based on supply situation, sales inputs, financial metrics, new product introduction and other considerations Work closely with finance, business execution, sales ops team to track business risk, shipment linearity, fill rate and other operational metrics Collaborate with sales team and product team on competitive analysis, product roadmap and product strategy 2) Lead initiatives for new markets/businesses Bring in market insights and work cross-functionally to develop actionable business plans Identify unique business model to be successful in new markets. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Technical, Marketing, Business Administration or other related field. Master/MBA preferred 10+ years of experience in business marketing, operation, planning or strategy functions.
