Responsible for entering and maintaining employee data in Human Resources Information System. Responsible for explaining and discussing employee benefits information. Assists the Director and Assistant Director of Human Resources with Team Member issues.Essential Functions And Responsibilities
Enroll and monitor eligible employees in health benefits program in Work DayResponsible for all database file maintenance related to benefits informationOversees FMLA/LOA processTrains managers and supervisors on FMLA Law and hotel processesGenerate quarterly average hours reportCoordinates annual Health and Safety Fair along with SecurityCoordinate yearly open enrollment communications and meetingsDevelop and coordinate modified work programsProvide benefits information at employee orientationHuman Resources Manager involved directly with team member issues, terminations/investigations.Human Resources manager monitors Workers Comp issuesOther duties as assignedSupportive Functions And Responsibilities
Notifies appropriate individuals fully and completely of any problems or unusual matters of significanceIs polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management, and employeesPromotes and applies teamwork skills at all timesAttends all appropriate hotel meetings and training sessionsMaintains clean and excellent condition of equipment and work areaExecutes emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standardsComplies with hotel safety regulations and proceduresComplies with hotel standards, policies, and rulesRemains current on hotel information and changesQualifications
Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skillsKnowledge of insurance and employee benefits program administrationAble to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidaysEducation
Bachelor degree in a related field or comparable experienceExperience
Minimum 2 years experience as a manager/supervisor in a hotel or resort settingSalary range for this position, based on experience, is $70,400.00 to $88,000.00.
