Job DescriptionHourly Rate Range : $27.00 USD Gross per hourReporting to the Director of Talent & Culture, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:The ability to possess a high level of professionalism and integrity while maintaining the confidentiality of the departmentAssist with administrative functionsMaintain all office materialsMaintain and distribute all documents, forms, and correspondence throughout the ResortEnsure all Federal and State required documents are current and up to dateMaintain departmental filing system and run quarterly filing auditsAssist with monthly compliance audits: I-9 compliance, Food Handlers cards, Spa License DMV and additional reportingAssist colleagues & Leaders with basic Talent and Culture questionsAssist with Resort functions and monthly Talent and Culture colleague eventsMaintain the Human Resources System (Dayforce)Maintain monthly Talent and Culture internal communication bulletin boards and posting current and up to date informationUse a variety of methods to promote Fairmont Grand Del Mar’s department information and standards including but not limited to updating bulletin boards, daily pre-shifts, and training materials as neededAssist with reporting workers compensation claims to carrier in a timely mannerAssist with safety training initiativesAssist with coordinating benefit eligibility letters to colleagues and hosting benefits seminarsAssist with department and benefits billing is completed each monthMaintain the HRB System including input, output and report processingAssist with recruitment process coordination, scheduling, screening, advertising, and new hire onboardingAssist with maintaining Applicant Tracking System (INES)Assist with the pre-employment process including completing reference checks and background checksProcess and maintain confidential information and to properly document information for payroll purposes, i.e. new hire personal information, wage changes, termination, etc.Promote a positive Colleague culture through an environment that encourages open communication, trust, mutual respect and funAssist with and support staff events of direct line committee organization, employee communication, bulletin boards, employee of the month program, employee picnics, parties, volunteering events and general meetingsAssist with recruitment and training as needed

QualificationsThe individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities:1-3 years of Talent & Culture experience preferredPrior Hospitality experience is a plusReading, writing, and oral proficiency in EnglishComputer literate in Microsoft Office applicationsUniversity/College degree in a related discipline preferredStrong organizational and leadership skillsHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work cohesively as part of a teamKnowledge of federal, state, and local law.LANGUAGE SKILLSFluent spoken and written EnglishBilingual ability is an asset
