www.bachem.com .A brief overviewThe Production Scheduler is primarily responsible for materials and resource planning for Production to ensure timely and efficient execution. He/She is the primary user of the Electronic Resource Planning system (ERP) for the Production Department to create Bills of Materials and works collaboratively with Project Management, QA, QC, and Materials Management for prompt and accurate release of materials so production remains on schedule.What you will doServe as the primary user of the enterprise resource planning system (ERP)Work with the Production Manager(s) to create and maintain bills of materialWork with the production planning team in Switzerland to request new, final, and intermediate productsEnter bill of material and other relevant information for new productsIssue and update manufacturing orders as neededProvide Production, QA, QC, and Materials Management with required manufacturing orders within required timelinesWork with Materials Management to update bills of materials to improve forecasting accuracyUtilize project timeline available in the ERP to assist with production planningWork effectively with multiple departments to meet timelinesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in a science-related field2-4 years’ work experience in API manufacturingWorking knowledge of cGMP and FDA regulationsExperience in production planning and resource allocationExcellent written and oral communication skillsBasic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointAbility to effectively organize, multitask, and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environmentAbility to communicate in a proactive and solution-focused manner, including keeping management aware of potential issuesDetail-oriented with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problemsAbility to work independently and manage one’s timeCommunicate effectively and ability to function well in a team environmentFlexibility of working hours based on business needs, may include some nights and occasional weekendsPreferredExperience with PeptidesExperience with the use of ERP systemsBase Hourly Pay Ranges:Placement of new hires in the wage range is based on several factors including education, skill sets, experience, and training.Total RewardsWe offer all Team Members a total rewards package including competitive pay, annual performance bonus, a generous benefit package with comprehensive Medical/Dental/Vision coverage, 401(k) plan with employer contribution, and paid vacation, personal, and sick days.Corporate Social ResponsibilityBachem takes responsibility for future generations by careful handling of resources and avoiding environmental risks.
