Job Overview: A law firm in Cherry Hill, NJ, seeks a dedicated and experienced Attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience to represent plaintiffs in asbestos litigation cases. The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record in personal injury cases, particularly asbestos-related ones, and demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and dedication to client advocacy.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Represent plaintiffs in asbestos litigation cases with professionalism, empathy, and dedication.Manage a caseload from initiation through resolution, including:
Investigation and case preparation.Client depositions and deposing other witnesses as needed.Opposing motions for summary judgments.Trial preparation.
Represent clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings.Collaborate with the legal team to develop effective legal strategies.Provide sound legal advice to clients.Effectively communicate with clients, expert witnesses, supporting witnesses, and medical providers to gather necessary information.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admitted to practice law in the state of New Jersey.3-5 years of litigation experience.Demonstrated expertise in litigation, with a focus on asbestos cases preferred.Trial experience, either as first or second chair, is highly desirable.Proven track record in plaintiffs’ personal injury cases, particularly asbestos-related matters.Skills and Competencies:Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to manage multiple cases effectively while accommodating each client’s medical treatment schedule.Strong sense of empathy towards asbestos victims.Adept at guiding clients through the deposition process.Location:Cherry Hill, NJ
