Lakeside HR Group, a leading full-service HR consulting and recruiting firm, is currently seeking experienced Business Development Manager to join our client's executive team. They are a leading residential shell contractor in South Florida. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in residential construction, an entrepreneurial mindset, and strong customer service skills. This role will report directly to the President and will be responsible for driving business growth in their current markets and expanding into new markets across Florida, such as Sarasota and Orlando.

Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth and expand market presence in SW Florida and other regions in Florida.Lead and manage the Account Manager(s) assigned to your region(s).Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders to enhance their market position.Oversee client relationship management for large and small accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to secure new contracts and projects, ensuring consistent revenue growth.Collaborate with the President, other Business Development Manager, and other executive team members to align business development efforts with the overall strategic goals of the organization.Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to inform business development strategies.Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the company's services and capabilities.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field is strongly preferred.Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles within the residential construction industry.Knowledge and understanding of Residential Structural Construction.Must be able to read and understand Constructions Plans proficiently.Established relationships within the residential construction sector and a strong network of industry contacts.Proven track record of successfully developing and executing business development strategies that drive growth.Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and results-driven approach.Strong customer service orientation with a focus on client satisfaction and retention.Ability to travel by car throughout the state of Florida.Why Join The Team?
