Come Build With UsStandard Metrics is looking for an experienced Content Marketer to help us grow our brand, create amazing content and unlock new channels for customer acquisition. You will be an expert on our customers, the market, and the competition, and will use this knowledge to develop compelling messaging and positioning that resonates with our target audience.
What You’ll Be Doing
Create compelling content and thought leadership assets for all stages of the funnel, including data-driven reports, whitepapers, blogs, newsletters, and videos to help build our brand
Support field readiness through the development and delivery of sales assets, including sell sheets and pitch decks
Develop solution-specific marketing programs to different personas and across channels
Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to improve organic visibility and drive targeted traffic to the website
Collaborate with product management and sales to bring competitive solutions to market
Help manage the company website and social media platforms
Manage relationships with related vendors/agencies (PR, Web, SEO)
Review and evaluate agency performance, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and identifying areas for improvement
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of content marketing experience across a variety of content types including long-form content (thought leadership pieces, case studies), short-form content (customer announcements), and messaging for our Revenue team
Excellent storytelling, writing, and editing skills with a proven ability to craft compelling content that resonates with our target audience
Enough familiarity with the VC finance ecosystem to speak the language of our customer
Experience independently developing and owning a content calendar across multiple channels and content types (newsletters, video channel, social, etc)
Familiarity with lead-nurturing practices to attract and build audiences with hyper-relevant content
Experience building trusted relationships with executives and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment across various teams
Deep understanding of how to measure content's impact and connect it to business outcomes, using data-driven insights to optimize content strategies
For our employees, located in the USA, we aim to pay at or above the market rate of US-based tech hubs like San Francisco or NYC. For international roles, we aim to pay top of market for your country. The estimated annual salary for this role is between $115,000-$150,000, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
