The Contractor shall support AFRCO Chief of Pricing by providing pricing support in the evaluation of government proposals. Specifically, the Contractor provides advice, guidance, and recommendations to procurement personnel in the resolution of a wide variety of cost and pricing issues. The Contractor shall assist Contracting Officers with cost objectives and ensuring they are based on sound pricing principles, review and evaluate contract price proposals for adequacy and compliance with laws, regulations, and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS). The Contractor shall conduct in-depth analysis and evaluation of proposals and present results for the Contracting Officer to determine reasonableness, accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.Provides expert independent services and leadership in specialized technical areas necessary for effective implementation of projects. Provides functional consulting, analysis, and methodological support to large, complex projects. Executes multifaceted technical tasks, applies analytical problem-solving methodologies, provides technical advice and direction, interfaces with client and/or prime contractor representatives, and effectively allocates resources. Has specialized experience in planning, evaluating, directing, and coordinating research and development projects. Provides technical advice to members of the project team.Qualifications

Required Qualifications:Master's Degree or Bachelor’s degree +4 additional years (19 total) in lieu of a Master's Degree15+ years of experience in an acquisition related environment2+ years in DoD/IC environment with demonstrated SCI/SAP working environment experienceCritical thinking, problem-solving, written and oral communication skills, and high attention to detailCurrent TS/SCI clearance, and the ability to maintain it throughout employment
