We're looking for an experienced Software Engineer who is passionate about data. As our company grows, so do our data opportunities and challenges. Our mission includes modeling ontologies, designing systems that leverage our knowledge graph, and architecting data to serve various needs while maintaining performance.
They are flexible on the tech environment the candidate is coming out of and have the best tool for the job mentality. Tech stack includes TypeScript, Node, MongoDB, REST, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, React, & AWS.
Responsibilities
Develop backend components for various user-facing features on the core platform.Enhance platform architecture and data models to ensure a high-performance, reliable user experience.Create and maintain systems for efficient data collection, processing, storage, and retrieval.Improve analytics, monitoring, and alert systems to promptly detect and address operational issues.Ensure all systems are highly observable, reliable, scalable, and automated.Design data solutions that support multiple sources, including the platform and analytics.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline and integrate data workflows.
Requirements
6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with a track record of building and shipping high quality products and featuresStrong Full-Stack or backend experience with a focus Microservices, APIs, and data platforms.Expertise in designing systems for scalability, reliability, and performance.Proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Passion for making data systems observable and highly automated.
Big Plus: Experience building data infrastructure from scratch at a fast-growing startup with an understanding of data modeling, ontologies, and knowledge graphs.
