Job DescriptionWe have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic
personal injury litigation
and
trial practice ! You will have the opportunity to work with one of the top
trial lawyers
in California and his team, manage cases, litigate, take and defend depositions, mediate, and try cases.We REQUIRE at least three years' experience in plaintiff's personal injury litigation.
Trial experience is not required but highly desired.
Must be able to work full time in our Torrance office.Your core duties and responsibilities will include:Managing a caseload of 30-40 cases acting as the lead attorney through all aspects of litigation from filing through trialDeveloping case strategies and theoriesDrafting and preparing pleadings, motions, and other legal documentsTaking and defending depositions including plaintiff, defendant, experts, and moreEngaging in settlement negotiationsActing as second chair in trialsMaintaining client communication to provide updates on case progressOverseeing and directing paralegal and other support staffQualificationsMinimum of three years of experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation.Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active California bar membership in good standingProven track record of successfully managing a caseload and resolving high-value casesStrong legal research and analytical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Client-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.High ethical standards and commitment to professional integrity.Benefits:Competitive salary and performance-based bonusesHealth insurance401K with employer contributionsPaid time off and paid holidaysContinuing legal education opportunitiesProfessional development and mentorship programsSupportive and collaborative work environmentOpportunities for career advancementGenerous case referral bonus program
