Job Overview:Founded in 1917, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Rahway is an acute care community hospital that provides inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical services.
Qualifications:
Skilled OR Nurse required with Scrub and circulating RN skills in the following specialties: Ortho, Podiatry, Urology, general surgery, minimally invasive & Robot and vascular. Flexible and a good communicator with ability to work effectively in a team setting.
1-2 years experience as an OR Nurse.
Required Certifications and Licenses:
Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement
BLS certification through American Heart Association
Current American Heart Association ACLS/PALS required.
Scheduling Requirements:
Part time, Days
On call requirement
One 12-hour shift requirement (12-hour shift can be split during the week)
Available to work at least 2 days per month with flexibility in hours and willingness to do on call a plus
Essential Functions:The Registered Nurse (RN) organizes and administers individualized age-specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care. Supports philosophy, objectives and the mission and vision of Saint Barnabas Medical Center and the Department of Nursing.
