Blacklock Financial are partnered with a strong Consumer focused Private Equity firm who are looking to add an associate to their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive industry and company research to identify potential investment targets
Evaluate investment opportunities through detailed financial modeling, including DCF analysis, LBO modeling, and comparable company analysis
Assist in due diligence efforts, including management interviews, site visits, and financial analysis
Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Support the negotiation and structuring of transactions, working closely with senior team members
Monitor and track portfolio company performance, providing ongoing support and strategic guidance as needed
Qualifications:
2-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or management consulting
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques
Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely
Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
