As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will inspect, test, and audit product processes following set procedures and exercising reasonable judgment. Attention to detail is essential and requires your effective performance of a variety of quality assurance and inspection operations.

This is an onsite role in our La Vergne TN office with a schedule of Monday - Thursday, 4:30PM - 3AM.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

Perform Quality Assurance Lead operations (within procedural verbatim compliance) related to the test and inspection of electronic devicesPerform quality inspection operations following instructions and pre-established guidelinesCreating work instruction for the Quality department, in collaboration with the documentation team and Quality SupervisorProvide training to new and; or existence employees on 6S and work instructionParticipate in weekly department status update meeting with department supervisorProvides training to team membersTracking weekly tasks and metricsProvide ANSI/AQL results to stakeholdersEstablish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practicesOversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are metAct as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externallyLead and mentor QA team members, as well as manage outside contract testersDevelop and execute test, plans and procedures (manual and automated)Entering relevant data and audit/inspection results in our computer databaseProvides process improvement feed backWork on multiple programs and in multiple QA functional areasServe as a resource for questions to other co-workers when supervisor is unavailableDocumenting relevant facts and information to support work performedParticipating in continuous improvement and team building activitiesMaintain productive working relationships with all team membersPerforming other duties as assignedWhat are the requirements needed for this position?

High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 3 years demonstrated quality experienceCross training in two or more jobs areas (includes current) are requiredAbility to be a certified trainer in multiple areasFull understanding of work process and flowAbility to use a personal computer and enter data with basic softwareAbility to work independentlyEstablish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practicesLead and mentor QA team membersWhat other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

One year or greater of previous experience working in a manufacturing environmentOne year of greater of Quality Assurance/Inspection experienceAny verbatim written procedure compliance experienceFamiliar with basic electronic test equipmentStrong attention to detailAbility to handle multiple priorities simultaneouslyAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAbility to interact effectively and positively with all levels of company personnel

Pay Range:$18.23 - $29.17

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
