As of the date on which this job advertisement is posted, the Company anticipates that the base salary range for this role is $145,000- $155,000. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonus on an annual basis. Actual base salary range may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience. Responsibilities: Regulatory Compliance: Training and Education: Monitoring and Reporting: Investigation and Response: Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Urban Planning, or a related field; a professional certification (e.g., Housing Credit Certified Professional – HCCP) is required. A minimum of 10 years of experience in affordable housing compliance, preferably within a property management or real estate environment. In-depth knowledge of affordable housing programs and regulations, including LIHTC, HUD, HOME, Section 8, and other relevant programs. Experience with resyndication, acquisition rehabs and new lease up preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. Proficiency in property management software and compliance tools. Ethical Judgment: Demonstrates a strong commitment to ethical principles and ensures compliance with affordable housing standards. Attention to Detail: Meticulously identifies and addresses compliance issues and risks within tenant files and property management operations. Leadership: Inspires and motivates others to uphold compliance and ethical standards within affordable housing programs. Strategic Thinking: Develops long-term strategies to manage compliance risks and ensure the integrity of affordable housing operations. Problem Solving: Effectively identifies issues and develops practical solutions to ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations. Working Conditions: This position is primarily office-based with occasional travel to affordable housing properties as needed.
