Job Summary

Involves designing, conducting, promoting, evaluating and supporting health professions education programs in compliance with organizational objectives and nationally accepted accreditation standards and requirements. Supports learners (including but not limited to faculty, residents, clinical fellows, graduate or undergraduate learners, practicing or licensed professionals) in areas such as curriculum, teaching and learning activities, scheduling, core competencies, assessment and evaluations. Coordinates all activities associated with ongoing administration of health professions education programs.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. Department Description

The Department of Family and Community Medicine is a mid-sized department on the UCSF Fresno campus and the UCSF School of Medicine. The UCSF Fresno Department of Family and Community Medicine provides service and training at the major affiliated locations: Community Regional Medical Centers; Veterans Administration Central California Health Care System (VACCHCS) and various other smaller sites. The Department's mission is to promote the health of Central California by providing innovative and excellent patient care, train the next generation of physicians and advance patient-centered research. The Department's vision includes becoming the provider of choice in Central California, delivering quality and compassionate healthcare; become the pre-eminent community-based education program in the country; create and refine innovative models of healthcare; and to foster intellectual curiosity in a work environment where faculty and staff are passionate about their profession and committed to lifelong learning.

Required Qualifications

High school graduation and three years of related administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Requires verbal and written communication skills, active listening, critical thinking, multi-task and time management skills.Working knowledge in administrative procedures and processes including word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.
