Country: USAState: MichiganCity: Grand RapidsOffice Location: 901 44th Street SEDate posted: 12-Oct-2023Business Function: Project ManagementPosition Type: Full-Time/RegularDescriptionWe are hiring a Senior Activation Strategy Consultant to support the Director in translating Steelcase Inc-level business strategies into processes that drive strategic initiatives towards better financial and executional certainty, looking across functions and working as a cohesion point for the organization.What You Will Be Doing:The Strategy Activation Senior Consultant drives and oversees the execution of a diversity of strategic initiatives under the Strategy Activation Team through the implementation of new transformation behaviors, Strategy Activation Team processes, and Change Management capabilities to support end-to-end value transformation. You will participate in managing and leading enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and large-scale, high-impact projects with moderate to high complexity. Utilize project management fundamentals to facilitate a cross-functional team through the project management process to achieve desired goals and objectives of the Strategy Activation Team. Be a key partner with Strategic Initiative Owners (SIO). Work with strategic initiative teams to ensure that they define project charters, develop project timelines, monitor project budget(s), lead risk identification/management, communications planning, etc. Provide input on the design of framework/models, tools, and training to help raise the overall SIO competency when it comes to PM skills and holding teams accountable to timelines, decisions, and responsibilities. Create analytically rigorous solutions to escalated issues that are data-backed, time-efficient, and socialized with necessary stakeholders.Your Future Team:As a member of the Strategy Activation Team, you will have an exciting opportunity to work with leaders and teams across the organization to build and scale a new capability in Steelcase.
