This hospital is part of a much larger parent company with over thirty hospitals nationwide! This system includes Academic Medical Centers, over 4,000 licensed beds, and $4 Billion dollars in revenue. They plan to DOUBLE in size in the next decade, offering great growth opportunities.
This 80+ bed facility is looking for an Acute Care Director to join the team and continue their success as an ‘A’ Hospital Safety Grade campus from The Leapfrog Group. This person will have oversight of their Med Surg and ICU, managing 85 FTEs and reporting to the CNO, who has been in the position for over 19 years. She seeks an experienced director to empower employees to excel for both nurses and patients.
Requirements:
RN, BSN Required; Masters in a healthcare-related field strongly preferred.
Five years of combined Med Surg and ICU experience in an acute care hospital setting required, with two years in clinical nurse leadership.
Director level experience is required for consideration.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, with strong presentation skills.
