ServiceNow Programmer/Developer (Level I)Minimum Qualifications SummaryCertification & EducationBachelor’s degree and five years of experience; or a master’s degree with three years of experienceExperience RequiredTwo years of experience developing management dashboards using ServiceNowExcellent reading comprehension, writing and communication skills that include the ability to effectively communicate with personnel from various programs.A minimum of two years of experience in responding to requests for information and searching automated systems for data.Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.Experience with developing and managing data models.Experience designing and developing solutions with PaaS solutions such as ServiceNow in an Agile Software Development environment.Technical proficiency with developing database queries, batch jobs, and stored procedures with PL/SQL and NoSQL.Experience developing solutions using Message Services, including management of Apache ActiveMQ.Experience with DevOps pipeline tools including configuration management, requirements (e.g., JIRA), automated testing, and deployment.Experience developing applications with responsive web design frameworks to support multiple platforms including compatibility with Chrome, Internet Explorer, Java, and iOS.Experience with all aspects of configuration management planning including configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, configuration audits, configuration documentation.Job ObjectiveAssist operations at ICE Headquarters as a ServiceNow Programmer/Developer.ResponsibilitiesApplication coding design and standards.Analyzes and studies complex system requirements.Designs software tools, supports software reuse and domain analysis, and manages their implementation.Manages software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques, and Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools.Reviews existing programs and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improving current techniques.Work LocationRemote (Local to the Washington D.C. area as on-site attendance is occasionally required).
