Oldcastle Infrastructure (OI), as part of CRH’s Infrastructure Products Group (IPG), is a global manufacturing leader of utility infrastructure products. With a modern, common platform, OI will unlock the benefits of its scale, deliver a better customer experience, and build a foundation for continuous process improvement.The Digital Enterprise Design Manager has accountability for the assigned application design, user role definitions, validation, production of training documentation and hand over to the deployment team. They will work with OI’s Systems Implementation consultants and other leaders and SMEs to coordinate interdependencies, find synergies, and ensure a scalable design that aligns with OI’s capabilities roadmap.Job Duties and Responsibilities

Own the overall business process design for assigned application(s)

Manage multiple design team members to deliver projects across business areasUnderstand OI’s business processes, challenges, and opportunities, so they are represented during the design workshops.Work with business leaders to identify needed subject matter experts (SMEs)Participate in workshop prep activities and schedulingParticipate in workshops and provide input based on expertise and experienceReview and approve key design decisionsReview and provide input for any system gaps leading to customization, and present them to the Director of DesignAssist in designing security roles and security role testingDirect and support technical design

Own the system validation results and training documentation

Assist team in identifying and developing end to end test scenarios and assist in identifying testers for System Integration Testing (SIT)Identify data validators from the business for data validationReview and accept/reject test resultsApprove training/documentation

Be a visible advocate for organizational change & sustainability

Assist organizational change management (OCM) team in identifying change agents and trainers in their process areasParticipate in and guide OCM activities e.g., change impacts, trainingAdvise data & analytics team on adoption metrics and management reportsSupport design & implementation of steady-state governance and change management model

Required Skills/ Education5+ years of experience working in various business processes in a manufacturing industry3+ years of managing teamsExperience leading complex projects that affect multiple functionsAbility to manage multiple projects at one timeHands-on experience working with IT on projectsProcess improvement knowledge gained while working in an organization undergoing a significant operational culture shift

Creation and improvement of processes that demonstrate ease of doing business internally and externallyDevelopment and implementation of process adherence and data quality adoption metrics

Strong interpersonal and organizational influencing skills

Ability to communicate in a simple, articulate, thoughtful manner to varying audience levelsInnovative spirit to work cross-functionally in developing improvement ideasA pleasant, likeable manner while accomplishing challenging results
