Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Walnut Creek is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 2-5 years of experience and membership in the California Bar. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in drafting complex pleadings, conducting legal research and analysis, and handling discovery in high-stakes actions.Duties:Draft complex pleadings, including complaints, answers, motions, and discovery requests and responses.Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on a variety of legal issues.Handle all aspects of discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production of documents, and requests for admissions.Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, and trials.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.Develop and implement case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.Maintain accurate and organized case files and documents.Requirements:2-5 years of litigation experience.Proficiency in drafting complex pleadings and conducting legal research and analysis.Ability to handle discovery in high-stakes actions.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Strategic thinker with a solid commitment to representing clients diligently.Certifications:Membership in the California Bar.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Skills:Legal research and analysis.Drafting complex pleadings.Discovery management.Communication and interpersonal skills.Case management and organization.Strategic thinking and attention to detail.
