This role is crucial for integrating people and processes with technology to enhance decision-making, organizational performance, and information dominance. The successful candidate will manage the information life cycle to create shared understanding and provide operational advantages in multi-domain command and control.Key Responsibilities
Integration of Capabilities:
Integrate data, information records, and knowledge management capabilities to ensure mission partners have access to relevant information and expertise, driving decision superiority.Management of Information Elements:
Oversee and manage the interconnected elements of data information, records, and knowledge to support effective operations.Facilitation of Decision-Making:
Facilitate shared understanding and enhance decision-making and execution through effective integration of information.Learning and Innovation:
Focus on learning and innovation to support the commander’s decision cycle and improve operational effectiveness.Timely Information Delivery:
Ensure the provision of timely, accurate, and relevant information for planning and conducting integrated air, space, cyberspace, and Joint operations.Data to Decision Model:
Apply collaboration, analysis, deliberation, and judgment to transform raw data into actionable information, enabling rapid creation and transfer of knowledge.Implementation of KM Components:
Manage and implement the following Knowledge Management components:People:
Facilitate leaders who create, organize, apply, and transfer knowledge.Processes:
Develop methods for creating, organizing, applying, sharing, and transferring knowledge.Tools:
Utilize digital and non-digital tools to organize and deliver knowledge products and services.Required Skills and Qualifications
Current DoD Top Secret clearance and eligible for SCI access.Proven experience in integrating information management and knowledge management capabilities.Expertise in transforming raw data into actionable information and implementing knowledge management models.Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
