This is a full-time remote role (can be 1099 contractual) for a Data Scientist and Engineering expert at Maxana.ai. The Data Scientist will be responsible for building AI and ML models, performing analytical tasks, and software development utilizing the latest AI tools and frameworks. Daily tasks include analyzing data and developing data engineering solutions on a payments engineering team.Responsibilities
Work closely with Machine Learning/ AI Engineers to understand, refine, and prioritize requirementsDesign and build our model serving service with simple, powerful APIs to capture our users’/clients’ needsBuild our core ML/AI model lifecycle management system to provide an ML/AI-aware release and deployment experienceImprove machine learning data quality by using & building tools to automatically detect issuesCreate intelligent ML/AI-aware real-time monitoring & observability systemsWork closely with partner teams to integrate with other ML/AI tools to create a seamless end-to-end experienceLeverage open-source technologies like Kubeflow, Kubernetes, Spark, Docker, Airflow, Tensorflow, and PyTorchQualifications
Deep skills in AI and ML tools and frameworksStrong Analytical SkillsSoftware Development expertiseAdvanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related fieldExperience in FinTech or financial services industryAbility to work independently and in a remote teamThis is a remote position.
