Senior Accountant

Vaco Boston has partnered with our client who is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join their finance team. This will be a hybrid position with 3 days/week remote.Responsibilities:

Preparation of consolidated financial statements, footnotes and disclosures.Review transactions for proper revenue recognition accounting treatment.Periodically prepare and review SEC 10-Q, 10-K; 8-K filings.Research and resolve various accounting and SEC reporting issues and inquiries.Liaise with the external auditors and assist with completion of the annual audit and quarterly reviews.Analyze financial results and create management reports.Assist with internal control policies and procedures.Assist with the research and implementation of new accounting standards.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or better in Accounting, Finance or related field.5+ years relevant experience, preferably with multi-tiered consolidations.Experience with consolidated financial systems, both internal and external financial reporting and consolidated financial analysis.Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting and auditing standards.
