P2S has an excellent opportunity for a talented electrical engineer to support medium-voltage infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience with:
Medium voltage (2.4kV - 35kV) infrastructure design experience, including specification of associated switchgear, transformers, and other related medium voltage equipment. Experience with underground distribution system design, shore power design, and related calculations. Specification and coordination of protective relaying and SCADA systems for medium voltage electrical systems.
Position Requirements
Degree: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, majoring in Power and Energy SystemsRegistered Professional Engineer license preferredMinimum 10 years experienceAble to work on electrical infrastructure design projects with minimal supervision and guide design teamsExperience using AutoCAD, ETAP/SKM, and RevitPrior experience working on port projects. Must be able to access and perform site visits on federal sites.Possess strong record-keeping and organizational skills

Duties:
Pre-Design Engineering
Perform field surveys for the design of electrical systems, gather information, and prepare site assessment reportsPrepare electrical schematic designs
Project Management
Demonstrate ability to manage multiple large size projects involving other senior engineers and sub-consultantsProvide mentorship to design engineersPrepare proposals independently for clientsDemonstrate active development of business with new and existing clients
Construction Administration
Review and respond to RFI'sReview equipment submittalsPerform punch walks and prepare punch list report
