JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for an Automotive Service Advisor for Ourisman Chevrolet & Mitsubishi of Marlow Heights. The Service Advisor is a customer service role that provides technical guidance and support for automotive service and repair operations. The successful candidate must be able to interact effectively with customers, work independently and use initiative to resolve customer issues. This is a full-time, commissioned position in the automotive industry in Marlow Heights, Maryland.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Interact with customers to provide automotive service and repair advice, cost estimates and answer technical inquiries.Assist customers in understanding the service required for their vehicle and provide an accurate estimate of the timeline and costs.Take ownership of customer problems and follow them through to resolution.Monitor ongoing work-in-progress to ensure customers are kept informed of progress.Receive and carry out requests for service, maintenance, and repairs from customers.Prepare repair orders and submit them to management for approval.Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with services provided.Maintain knowledge of service technician workloads, vehicle inventory and current competitive pricing information.Process all forms of payment, including cash, credit card, and check.REQUIREMENTS:
At least two years of prior Automotive Service Advisor experience.Excellent customer service skills.Good communication skills.Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.Ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision.Knowledge of automotive service and repair operations and processes.Ability to learn new products and services.Knowledge of power tools and diagnostic equipment.EEOC STATEMENT:
