It is a peaceful, scenic, community-oriented area with an abundance of amenities to suit every taste.JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTSScheduled Weekly Hours: 36Work Shift: 7am - 7pm; FT or PRN (as needed)Summary of the Job:The Nursing Assistant assists the nursing staff in performing routine patient care for a group of patients for a designated period of time. Minimum Qualifications:High School graduate or equivalent required. Current certification validated from the LA Department of Health and Hospitals or must be currently enrolled in a NLN accredited RN program, in good standings and completed their first hospital-based clinical rotation. Current BLS certification through any International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) provided courses such as but not limited to: Ochsner Health System, American Heart Association, and American Red Cross. The ILCOR course must include a manikin check off.Good communication skills. Ability to meet weekend and holiday requirements. Physical Demands: Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 50 pounds is required.
