Premion is currently looking for a Full-Stack Engineer, Senior Lead. Launched in 2016 by TEGNA Inc. (NYSE: TGNA), Premion is an industry-leading premium CTV/OTT advertising platform for regional and local advertisers. Gray Television, Inc. acquired a minority stake in Premion in 2020. Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of both front-end and back-end applications to support the demand-side platform for a large media company.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to ensure alignment of project goals and deliverables.
- Implement best practices for code quality, including automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of the applications to handle high-volume traffic and ensure high availability.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and efficiency within the team.
- Ensure all projects comply with U.S. regulatory standards and data privacy laws
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on full-stack development.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, Java).
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a lead role, demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills.
- Prior experience in the media industry is required.
- Knowledge of software development standards and best practices.
- Strong understanding of U.S. media industry regulations and standards.
