Premion is currently looking for a Full-Stack Engineer, Senior Lead. Launched in 2016 by TEGNA Inc. Location: CA, NYC, DC

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of both front-end and back-end applications to support the demand-side platform for a large media company.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to ensure alignment of project goals and deliverables.
  • Implement best practices for code quality, including automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of the applications to handle high-volume traffic and ensure high availability.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and efficiency within the team.
  • Ensure all projects comply with U.S. regulatory standards and data privacy laws


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on full-stack development.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, Java).
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in a lead role, demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Prior experience in the media industry is required.
  • Knowledge of software development standards and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. media industry regulations and standards.


Pay Range

$120,000-$145,000 USD

Our 401(k) program offers full, part-time and temporary employees the opportunity to contribute 1% - 80% of their pay on a pre-tax basis to TEGNA's 401(k). Contributions made up to the first 4% of pay are eligible for a 100% match from the company and are 100% vested from day one.
