Sales Account Manager

in the Domestic Sales department, working with our Weatherstrips commodity. The

Sales Account Manager

functions with a high degree of autonomy, and is responsible for providing professional level account management and managing customer satisfaction for customers of Toyoda Gosei (TG) North America Corporation (TGNA) and TGNA Manufacturing Companies (NAMCs).

Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage customer satisfaction through assessing & understanding needs, and developing & executing action plansManage multiple customer accounts, ensuring satisfaction while meeting financial targetsContribute to the development of sales strategies to achieve corporate sales targets and support company visionCoordinate commercial activities throughout the entire organization; working cross-divisionally regarding engineering changes, quality improvements, quotes & negotiations, and reportingManage and update all internal sales systems and customer interface applications, tracking and reporting changes to managementPromote effective communication, developing strong relationships with internal/external stakeholdersManage timely resolution of commercial challenges in collaboration with multiple regions on multiple product linesDrive optimization by being actively engaged in continuous improvement effortsFunction in a highly collaborative environment where flexibility and teamwork is crucial to organizational successQualifications and Competencies

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other technical field.Eight or more years of experience in automotive supplier sales or manufacturing environments is requiredAbility to demonstrate effective negotiation and presentation skills is requiredAbility to understand, compile and present reports in a factual and concise manner, with an ability to articulate complex business case proposals is required; including financial reportsProficiency using MS Office Suites 2007& newer, and web-based applications & technologies is requiredAbility to consistently meet deadlines is requiredEffective verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills with all staff and management are requiredEffective attention to detail, problem solving and organizational skills is requiredExperience working with Domestic OEM purchasing systems is strongly preferredBenefits (subject to eligibility):
