This position will be responsible for assisting customers with inquiries of conveyor belt products and field services, price estimates, sales orders and performing customer service functionsInside Sales Representative must have strong communication and problem-solving skills, positive mindset, and a collaborative approachEnter sales orders into the system using information from the customer's purchase orderCoordinate with outside sales and Operations in preparing pricing quotes and sales orders for customers as requiredWork with other internal departments; production, purchasing, quality, order entry, credit, and outside sales to meet the customer's requirementsRecommend improvements in products, packaging, shipping, service, or billing methods and procedures to prevent future problemsHelp with billing and ASN'sMonitors inventory levels and communicates to office staffEffectively communicates and responds to diverse customer environments and needsHandles customer complaints and problems promptly and to the customer and company's satisfactionPerform various customer specific procedures that may include obtaining and reviewing additional instructions for invoicing, ordering, online accounts, and several other functions in order to comply with requirementsConducts all business transactions and customer relationships in a highly ethical mannerWorks closely with accounting to ensure timely collectionsCoordinate with purchasing and vendors as needed for pricing and lead times on buy out itemsPerform all customer service branch activities as needed and perform other related duties as assignedTake orders via telephone, fax, e-mail and walk-in customers; maintain excellent customer relationsCommunicate with customers and other branch employees to ensure order accuracy and smooth operations.Invoicing - ensure all proper paperwork is completed, inventory adjustments are complete, costing and pricing is accurateProduce work orders and slitting permits for jobs, coordinate slitting jobs with Slitter, Shipper / Receiver or Shop Foreman / Service ManagerAssist Outside Sales with quotations and sourcing products
