Lead Conveyor Service Technician

Must have previous experience of vulcanizing and/or splicing heavy rubber conveyor belting. Duties include:Responding to assigned customer orders to install conveyor belts or repair as neededEnsure conveyor belts or systems are working effectively per customer orders and instructionsInstall conveyor belts using rigging gear, winches or cranes as required to fit and assemble system componentsCertify that jobs are completed within order timesLoads, delivers, installs, and specs equipment.Completes all required paperwork (time sheets, service orders, forms, inventory, expense reports, purchase card, and equipment related items).Properly identify basic conveyor system components and troubleshoot to perform basic splices, belt cleaning and pulley lagging.Serves as a technical contact for assistance with the training and ongoing technical support for other technicians and administrative staff.Performs other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsValid Drivers License and satisfactory motor vehicle claims historyMinimum 2 years of belt splicing experienceMust be able to pass a drug and alcohol testSkills & AbilitiesMechanically inclined, hands onSafety consciousCommitted to a high standard of workmanshipDetail-orientatedPunctual, reliable, self-motivatedAble to work independently or on a teamPositive attitudeCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $58,240.00 - $72,800.00 Per Hour
