Position Description:
The Data Systems Analyst, Senior performs data collection, documentation, and analysis of federal government programs and systems.
Minimum/General Experience:
8 years of federal government systems analyst experience
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's Degree in an associated discipline
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
Expert experience performing federal government data collection
Excellent experience performing data modeling, analysis, documentation, and product generation
Excellent experience organizing and translating complex data into documentation
Above average experience collecting and compiling data for accurate reporting
Strong experience providing literature and online research support
Strong experience assisting in preparation of documentation to support federal government deliverables
Strong analytical ability, judgment and problem analysis techniques
Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
Effective in interpersonal relationship building and collaboration
Excellent experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Experience supporting a federal contractor providing services to the federal government
Knowledge of federal civilian agencies (e.g., Department of Veterans Affairs (preferred), Defense Health Agency, Health and Human Services) (preferred)
Security : Ability to obtain/maintain a Federal Civilian Public Trust
U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident that has lived in the United States for at least 3 years

Consists of a review of up to but not limited to:
Covers 5-10 year period and in some instances lifetime events
OPM Security Investigations Index (SII)
DOD Defense Central Investigations Index (DCII)
National Agency Check (NAC) records
FBI name check

Tasks/activities include, but are not limited to:
Provides in-depth analyses using complex data to aid in decision-making
Compiles and organizes data for modeling, documentation, and product generation
Assembles and translates complex data into information for studies, reports, and documentation
Defines parameters of requested data output and analysis during data collection
Collects, compiles, and assembles data for financial and analytical reports
Supports detailed and thorough research to support federal government programs and systems
Assists in preparation of reports, briefings, and documentation to support deliverables and work products
Presents products to different stakeholder audiences
Supports strategic planning, governance, and policy team activities
